ASG: The Company |
ASG was incorporated and began operation in Ottawa in 1987. The Applications Systems GroupInc. (ASG) provides IT professional services to federal government, crown corporations and the private sector operating in the National Capital Region. The Company is committed to providing government and industry with the highest level of consulting services in the Information Technology/Information Management arena and, in the process, create and foster a challenging and rewarding environment for our associates. We have built a strong team of employees and consultants who are experienced and qualified professionals currently providing a broad range of professional services to our clients. ASG, as a resource driven organization, goes through exhaustive measures to qualify candidates for our database of potential resources. Every effort is made to identify individuals who possess the knowledge related to new and emerging technologies as well as possessing all the soft skills necessary to work effectively independently or in a team-oriented environment. Our database currently has 6000 pre-qualified resumes from which we can select a resource. ASG has cultivated strong business relationships with our consultants and client community. These relationships are fostered by our ethical approach to conducting business, the rapid manner we successfully respond to a client request with limited interruption and the conscious investment we make in all of our resources. In an effort to broaden our reach and service offering, ASG identifies key organizations with whom we partner as part of our active Strategic Partnership Program. ASG provides professional consulting services to a number of organizations, including, but not limited to: PWGSC, TC and DFO. We completed our 2006 fiscal year with sales of approximately 4.5 million dollars. |

Pierre Dupuis President and CEO Pierre is the President and Chief Executive Officer of The Applications Systems Group. He incorporated the company in 1987 subsequent to his employ as a Senior Systems Analyst with the Canadian International Development Agency. As a senior IT Professional with experience in project management and implementation, Pierre has a thorough understanding of the informatics industry. Above all, Pierre is an entrepreneur and he continuously supports the company through his financial investment, creativity and active involvement. He has over 34 years of experience in the IM/IT industry. |

Sandra Harris Vice President Operations Sandra is ultimately responsible for maximizing corporate profitability. She is involved in all day-to-day activity as it relates to: client relationships, contracting, pricing strategies, strategic partnering and the consulting services market in general. Sandra graduated from the University of Ottawa with a degree in Fine Arts & English. Sandra has 29 years of experience in the IM/IT industry entirely focused in Sales, Marketing, HR, Staffing, Resourcing and Professional Consulting Services. Myrna McNaughtan Myrna provides financial and administrative support to the Vice President of Operations and the Manager of Human Resources and Recruiting. Myrna is an experienced business professional well versed in accounting principles and ethics. She is a creative, analytical and responsive individual oriented towards achieving business goals. Myrna is a builder of substantive replationships to communicate, motivate and support goals in multi-disciplined teams and an advocate of innovation to enhance products and services.
